Autobiography

I, Akmaral Sabitollaevna Magauova, was born in the village of Begen in the Beskaragay District of the Semipalatinsk Region to a family of civil servants. My mother is Maryam Gallyamovna, and my father is Sabitolla Magauovich. I grew up in a large family, with three sisters (Rosa, Gulnar, and Zhanar) and a brother (Serikbolat). In 1979, I graduated from Malo-Vladimirovskaya Secondary School in the Beskaragay District of the Semipalatinsk Region. In 1985, I graduated with honors from the History and Pedagogy Department of the Semipalatinsk State Pedagogical Institute. I began my career as a history teacher at Novonikolaevskaya Secondary School, and from 1987 to 1989, I worked as the secretary of the Beskaragay District Komsomol Committee, then as a leading specialist in the Bekaragay Department of Public Education. I have been working in higher education since 1990: as an associate professor at the Semipalatinsk Pedagogical Institute, advisor to the rector, dean, and head of the Department of Pedagogy at Shakarim Semipalatinsk State University. Since 2008, I have worked at Kainar University (Semey) as the first vice-rector. Since 2011, I have served as vice-rector of the Almaty Humanitarian and Technical University. I am currently a professor in the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In 1995, I completed full-time postgraduate studies at the Department of Pedagogy at Abay Almaty State University and defended my candidate's dissertation. In 2007, I defended my dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences before the dissertation council at E. Buketov KarSU. I am the author of 320 scientific papers, including the textbook "Ethnopedagogical Training of Future Teachers", published in Germany and included in the international catalog of the best world books, monographs: "Teacher Preparation for the Organization of Children's Life Activities", "Pedagogy of Higher Professional School", "Conceptual Apparatus of Pedagogical Science and Education", etc. She has completed scientific internships at universities in England, Japan, Germany, the Czech Republic, Malaysia, Turkey, and Cyprus.
