Almas Alimbay, was born on October 16, 1996, in Targap village, Zhambyl district, Almaty
region. From 2003 to 2014, he studied at Targap Secondary School. Nationality: Kazakh.
Marital status: Single.
From 2014 to 2018, he completed his Bachelor of Natural Sciences in Hydrology at the Faculty
of Geography and Environmental Sciences, Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, Al-Farabi
Kazakh National University.
From 2019 to 2021, he obtained a Master of Natural Sciences degree in Hydrology at the
Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences, Department of Meteorology and Hydrology,
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Since 2024, he has been a PhD doctoral student in Hydrology at the Department of Meteorology
and Hydrology, Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences, Al-Farabi Kazakh National
University.
Teaching experience: 4 years.
• In 2021–2022, he worked as a specialist at the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology,
Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
• Since 2022, he has been a lecturer at the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, Faculty
of Geography and Environmental Sciences, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as well as a
curator-advisor for 4th-year students of the Hydrology educational program.
• Since 2022, he has served as a technical secretary (career guidance officer) of the
Admission Committee of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
• In the 2023–2024, 2024–2025, and 2025–2026 academic years, he has held the position of
Senior Curator-Advisor of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences at Al-Farabi
Kazakh National University.
