Autobiography

Zhanabaeva Zhanara Anuarbekkyzy entered the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in 2005 with a degree in Hydrometeorology, graduated in 2009. From 2009 to 2011 studied at the master's program at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, specializing in Hydrometeorology. In 2011, Zhanabaeva Zhanara was hired as a lecturer at the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences. Zhanabaeva Zhanara teaches in Kazakh, Russian and English to bachelor and master students. In September 2015, she entered a PhD doctoral program at the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, majoring in “6D061000- Hydrology”. Zhanabaeva Zhanara has more than 30 scientific papers, including 3 publications in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, as well as 2 textbooks and 4 co-authored international monographs. Has experience in national and international research projects. In 2018, she joined the group of developers of the educational program “Hydrology” in English in the specialty “5B0601000- Hydrology”, held within the framework of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since 2018, she has been deputy head for educational, methodological and educational work of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
