AUTOBIOGRAPHY
Sokira Tatyana Sergeevna, was born on January 13, 1956
in the city of Tselinograd (Astana). In 1973 she
graduated from high school number 5, and then entered
the first year of the Tselinograd Civil Engineering
Institute (CICI) in the Faculty of Civil Engineering,
majoring in Industrial and Civil Engineering. In the
process of studying, she was an activist of the
movement of student construction brigades. For their
active work, they were awarded the Diploma of the
Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR. She
graduated from the institute in 1978, was left as an
assistant of the department "Organization and
management of construction" of this institute.
From November 1978 to September 1986, she worked in
various elected Komsomol positions, ranging from the
deputy secretary of the KCSOM committee of the Komsomol
to the first secretary of the Tselinograd Komsomol city
committee. In 1985, she was elected deputy of the city
Council of People's Deputies of Tselinograd (Astana)
for a term of two years. For active work in the
Komsomol was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor in
1986.
From September 1986 to August 1988, she was a student
at the Alma-Ata Higher Party School (AVFSH). Upon
graduation, she received a second higher education - a
government specialist with the right to teach public
disciplines. In August 1988, she was hired as a senior
lecturer at the Department of “Party Construction” of
the AVFSH, where she worked for two years, and then
entered full-time graduate school in Moscow. She
graduated from the graduate school and defended her
thesis on the specialty 00.05 in 1993 in the Russian
Academy of Management, Ph.D.
Upon returning to Almaty, she worked as chief economist
at the Moscow Orphanage, Kazinteretnos, as vice
president of PKF Igilik-Fininvest. Combined this work
with teaching in the Academy of Transport and
Communications.
From September 1997 to June 2016 she worked at KazNTU
named after K.S. Satpayev, including from 2004 to 2009,
was the Deputy Director, first of the Ecological and
Economic Institute, and then, after its transformation,
of the Institute of Economics and Business. In January
2003, she was awarded the academic title of associate
professor by the decision of the Higher Attestation
Commission of Kazakhstan. In 2006, she was awarded the
Ayrksha Eugeni Ushin Medal of KazTU.
Sokira TS prepared and published the individual study
guide “Communications in an organization” (2003), a
training aid in co-authorship with “PR-management”
(2017). She is a co-author of the development of State
standards of specialties 522550 and 070841, as well as
nine standard curricula for disciplines (2001). In
2006, she prepared and put into practice two content
disciplines "Management" and "Marketing and Logistics"
for remote training courses in "KazAtomprom". She is
the author of more than 70 publications and articles
that have been published in various scientific journals
both in Kazakhstan and in the near and far abroad.
Since September 2016, Sokira TS will work as an
associate professor of the department "Management and
Marketing" of the Kazakh National University. Al-
Farabi. Currently, he is the deputy head of the named
department of “Management and Marketing” at the Higher
School of Economics and Business Administration for
educational, methodical and educational work. Her
competence includes coordination of all areas of
educational and methodical work: development and
provision of educational and methodical documentation
of the educational process in four areas of training in
undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies, quality
control of the educational process, providing guidance
to teachers, organizing practices and preparing
graduation works and. etc. One of the most important
coordinated areas is educational work in classrooms and
dormitories, communication with parents of students,
holding events that develop and educate students.
