Yessenov Meirzhan Nurlanovich, 2008-2012 studied at the Faculty of Geography of Al- Farabi Kazakh National University (specialty 050902 - Tourism). In 2015, he completed a master's degree in tourism management from New York University. In the same year, he was hired as an assistant lecturer at the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism. Currently, he is a senior lecturer at the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism. During his work as a teacher, he showed himself from the positive side both in terms of conducting classes and in terms of social and educational work at the department. Teaches classes in Kazakh, Russian and English language. Classes are held at the proper theoretical and pedagogical level using modern teaching technologies and office equipment. He is an honorary member of the club for the development of tourism and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan "ZhasTour" (KazNU). In 2017, he worked as an analyst at the Tourist Information Center of Almaty, conducted analytical work for tourism development in Almaty in cooperation with foreign professors and representatives of the UNWTO. In 2018, he received the position of an analyst at Open Travel Advisory. Yessenov M.N. drives scientific work, participates in the work of scientific and methodological conferences, has experience in managing research and development work, including those studying on academic mobility. Actively participates in the social life of the department and faculty.
