Autobiography
Olzhas kurmanbayev was born in 1990 in the village of Asysag, Enbekshikazakh district,
Almaty region.
In 2007, he graduated from high school with honors.T. Kabylova entered the Kazakh
main architectural and Construction Academy of Almaty with a degree in construction. During
his studies, he actively participated in various social events held within the walls of the
University and showed himself from the best side.
In 2011, he successfully completed his studies, and in the same year he entered the
magistracy of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in Geodesy. In those
years, 3 scientific articles were published on the basis of Olzhas's research work.
Under the guidance of Associate Professor O. A. Sarybayev, he comprehensively considered the
dissertation "improving Geodetic support for open-pit mining" and defended this research
work at a high level.
After completing his studies, he worked as a civil engineer in the construction
company"Sunkar" LLP.
In 2014-2022, he defended his PhD thesis in the specialty "Geodesy" at the Kazakh
National University.K. I. Satpayev. In those years, 28 scientific papers were published on
the main content of the dissertation, including 8 articles in journals recommended by the
committee for control in education and science of the Ministry of Education and science of
the Republic of Kazakhstan, 17 articles in collections of international scientific and
practical conferences, 2 articles in the Scopus database and 1 collective monograph.
Dissertation "improvement of Geodetic methods of control of deformations of engineering
structures" under the guidance of Doctor of technical sciences professor M. B. Nurpeisova
(In the case of the maikain field), he comprehensively considered and defended the research
work.
From 2017 to 2019, he worked as a surveyor engineer in the construction company RIGOLIT LLP.
From 2019 to the present, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of cartography and
Geoinformatics of the Faculty of geography and nature management has been working.
